Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information YieldQuest collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. YieldQuest is operated by Will Media Services LLC, an Oregon limited liability company. By using yieldquest.app, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

• Wallet address. Your Algorand wallet address, which is public blockchain data.
• Email address. Optional. We ask for it only so we can send quest and payout notifications.
• Blockchain transaction data. Public onchain data that we read to verify quest completions.
• Usage analytics. Basic information about how the site is used, so we can improve it.

2. What we do not collect

We do not collect your real name, phone number, government ID, payment card details, or any KYC data.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• verify quest completions using public blockchain data;
• send payouts and related notifications;
• detect and prevent fraudulent activity, such as sybil attacks;
• operate, maintain, and improve the Service.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. Please note that Algorand blockchain data is public by nature: wallet addresses and transactions are visible to anyone on the public ledger, which is outside our control.

5. Data retention

We keep your email and personal identifiers only as long as needed to operate the Service, or until you request deletion. Payout records are retained in anonymized form for up to 7 years for tax and audit compliance. Blockchain data cannot be deleted by us or anyone else, because it lives on a public ledger.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@yieldquest.app.

7. Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. Here is what we remove and what we are required to keep:

• Email address. Permanently deleted.
• Username. Anonymized, so public leaderboards stay intact.
• Wallet address in our records. Replaced with an anonymized hash to remove our association with it.
• Quest submissions. Anonymized.
• Reviews. Kept, but displayed under a generic verified-user label rather than tied to you.
• Payout records. Kept in anonymized form for tax and audit compliance, for up to 7 years.
• Blockchain data. Cannot be deleted, as explained above.

How to request deletion

• Email hello@yieldquest.app to request deletion. We acknowledge within 48 hours.
• We verify that you own the wallet, by asking you to sign a message or send a tiny transaction, so that no one else can request deletion of your data.
• We complete the anonymization within 30 days.
• We confirm completion with you before removing your email.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last updated date shown above. If you continue to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated policy.
